On the 18th and 19th of December, 2025, NTC International visited two of the poorest regions in the Plateau State – Riyom and BarkinLadi. These are the Local Government Areas that are the worst hit by the terrorist attacks.

The hopeful children received new Christmas clothes, shoes, haircut, and braids – for the girls.
Sanitary provisions – pads, toothpaste, and brushes were made available to some children who received their very first tooth brushes, which their parents can not afford.

The heartbroken youth were not left out as they received health talks and sanitary pads – they were taught how to use them and responsibly dispose them of the afterwards.

The resilient and brave women beamed with happiness as every woman was given a food hampers containing – rice, beans, stock cubes, cooking palm, and vegetable oil. This is so that every child should wake up on Christmas morning to a delicious home-cooked meal to make Christmas more memorable.
