Our Child Sponsorship team prepared our sponsored children for return to school!
Some of our children had to change schools to safer areas closer to their homes.
Blessing Joseph was one of these lucky children. Our NTC Child Sponsorship Team lead Bassa – Christabel presented all our sponsored children, including Blessing, with her school supplies.
Blessing also wrote a sweet note to her sponsors, thanking them for their support through the years.
The sad reality is that Western education is under attack in Nigeria.
Teachers’ lives are in danger as across the country, there have been nearly 20 school abductions in 6 months.
Parents are becoming more sceptical and terrified of sending their children to school.
NTC has relaunched our school feeding with lunch boxes to provide an incentive for the children to come to school in order to receive a wholesome free meal.
You can be a part of this initiative by making a donation to our NTC COMMUNITY FOOD BANK team, who make these meals possible.
You can also sponsor a child or more for just under 95p a day.
Let’s encourage these children to come to school for a better future, as the government devices ways to put an end to this mnenace. NTC is determined to hold them accountable for implementing better safe school initiatives across Nigeria.
